SohoMod Customer Reviews & Testimonials

The fireplace is a nice aesthetic to add to a room. The main purpose for the purchase of this fireplace was to add supplemental heat to our bedroom. While the fireplace operates quietly, the heat output is very disappointing. I let the heat run on the fireplace for a several hours and temperature in the bedroom went from 71 to 73 degrees. The bedroom is 16 x 16 and is well insulated and closed off. Again, looks nice sitting on the wall, but the heating element in this model leaves a lot to be desired.

The unique industrial-inspired design makes for a STUNNING focal point for any room. Sit back and relax and enjoy the mesmerizing hyperrealistic firebox designed to take the chill out of a 1000 sq ft room. The Ramona is perfect for anyone likes one of a kind furniture!

Had a few little things wrong with it while putting it together but for the most part its cute and worth it. I do recommend this fireplace.

We use the fireplace in our family room, installed in a wood burning fireplace no more wood to haul in or ashes to haul out Cheap to run.

Just WOW! I was skeptical from some reviews saying the back glass is too reflective. The front glass is actually tinted enough to counter this. The flame effect is amazing and with the reflection of the logs, actually gives the appearance of the flames rising from the middle. I was able to score a 33% off coupon from this site which made my decision a no brainer. The most difficult thing was I had to adjust the opening slightly to fill the space up, but it wasn't a big deal. The measurements for the opening are spot on. If you're on the fence, go for it! You won't be disappointed.

Looks real lifelike, love the different setting options. was worried though. The info online doesn't tell you how many options really, and you don't show the different looks. went by reputation of Dimplex brand. there are 3 flame speeds, brightness, and log brightness, and options of xtra red, or blue flame as well. the only thing we ran into was one of the screw holes didn't match up right to secure glass panel. luckily my husband had a metal drill bit. easily remedied.

This is my third Dimplex unit. They have the most realistic flame and are absolutely dependable. I've installed others and by far the Dimplex fireplaces have never disappointed me.

It was as described!

I was nervous about purchasing this without seeing the wood finish. It arrived quickly and undamaged. The wood is not grey, but loved it and it looks amazing in my living room.

The Sanders has a very simple design that catches your eye with the beautiful carbonized walnut color and it works well with any style. It has two different size drawers on each side of the firebox. It holds up to a 50" TV. There are 4 different firebox choices. Love it!!!

This is beautiful and gives our family room a cozy feeling and it throws off enough heat that the furnace doesn't run as often. We love it!

Nice looking piece of furniture with the eclectic fireplace embers of the acrylic ice that change colors for impressive visual effects. Now I have to fill it up with my stereo and my CD 5 disc changer.
