SohoMod Customer Reviews & Testimonials

This is a great product and love the flames and all the color.

We looked and looked for a TV stand with a fireplace to place our new large screen television on and finally found this one with it's contemporary style we felt this would be a nice piece of furniture for our living room, and we were right! it looks great and was easy to setup has wheels so it is easy to move once assembled. The flames are very realistic. We really didn't buy it for the heat but it does help heat our living room. Very sturdy pieces of wood. Only thing to watch for is to make sure you have some help getting it inside your house the boxes are very heavy.

This is our first Dimplex and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Delivery and installation were easy and it looks beautiful! Highly recommend. We built a wall to recess it into and it fits perfectly in our space.

First , I never write reviews... that being said. This fireplace from Dimplex is amazing ! I researched electric fireplaces for about a year ( I am OCD that way) and it just came down to which one we wanted to buy . We like the rustic look so we chose this one . We live in a condo on the lake that is 1400 sq. ft. The living room is 24x15 and this fits perfectly on the wall next to our 65" TV. I want a bear skin rug to put in front of it (Wife vetoed it tho). This came in 2 boxes on 1 skid. The fireplace was VERY easy to put together (16 or 18 bolts, 6 pieces) firebox in 1 piece, glass was separated for shipping. All that said... this product is outstanding, the firebox is the perfect size for this fireplace, bigger in size which is want I was looking for (makes it the "showcase" of the fireplace). The mantle is REAL wood and the stone work looks and definitely feels like real stone. Now to the flame ... This is soooo realistic that we had someone actually think it was real, (LOL). The wood logs and embers look so real like they are actually burning. This has multiple flame settings (7), ( I like the rotating colors), and if you look close it looks like smoke coming up off the flames, a timer, heat source, etc.. Honestly we could not be more pleased with what we got ! If you are shopping for a great looking electric fireplace with a REALISTIC flame, either for just the ambience of a fireplace , the heat or both this Dimplex fireplace is for you. I can only imagine what the new ones look like with the Opti-myst system (REAL SMOKE LOOK) in them. If I missed anything about this fireplace I apologize but I could go on and on . I hope this helps you out if you are looking for a realistic flame fireplace.

This "fireplace " is beautiful. Really enhanced the look of our living room. So much better than your old boring TV stand. The only problem we ha was one bolt hole was no aligned. Dremel fixed it up quick. Putting it together was not too difficult for me and the hubby. Well packed. Is heavy!

The Wyatt Fireplace TV stand is the perfect addition to my cozy one-bedroom apartment. This solidly built piece of furniture not only grandly displays my 55" plasma TV but has two roomy side cabinets that I use to hold DVDs, games, user manuals, and photo albums. I chose the acrylic ice for my fireplace giving a modern look to this steampunk-style industrial designed cabinet. There is a warm air option that I rarely use but found to be a nice little heat source if needed. I love the color options for the false fire; red, blue, white, purple and yellow. This is a great solution to fill the void of a fireplace-less room. I highly recommend this product.

We love our new Olivia 71 inch fireplace. We went sure what to get until we spotted this unit and instantly fell in love. It's perfect to hold our 70 inch TV. Plus it holds all our DVDs on both sides. It's perfect for the space in our living room.

I could not be any happier or more satisfied with my purchase. The quality of this tv console is amazing. It looks beautiful and is much better than I expected it to be. Everything was wrapped and protected very well. I'm a happy customer and will definitely buy from them again.

I purchased this fireplace a couple of years ago and it transformed my room. It is so classy and even though it is fairly modern, it blended so nicely with my furnishings. Super high quality. Highly recommended.

This is a very modern looking piece of furniture. It goes great with our decor and color theme. The shipping was so fast, we are very happy!

This fireplace tv stand was delivered a few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. The cabinet is fully assembled but the fireplace insert will need to be installed, we did it with little effort. The realistic look of the flames and all the variables with the heat settings and color of flames is really nice.

Attractive, heats smalls areas efficiently and easy to setup. Issue that I have with it is that the electrical cord plug gets overly warm after extended use.
