SohoMod Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Buy it because it's beautiful and the price is right. But DON'T buy it if you need a heating source.

We received our Dimplex Fireplace insert and are very happy with it-We were tired our all the mess of a fire in a fireplace and I am allergic to smoke so this is perfect. In our opinion it couldn't be used for heat only-It only heats a very small area but we are thoroughly satisfied with it.

Found a Mantel on Sale and bought this to go inside. Easy as pie. In our Southern Climate, Phoenix, Arizona, it replaces the central heat at a fraction of the cost. A friend loved it an had me buy another for him.

We love our electric heater. Many people can't belive it is not a real fire. Our daughter said the fireplace was on because of the "burning ember affect" on the logs. We tried to tell her it was not on. She insisted that is was. Only after showing her that the cord was not plugged in did she believe us.

very realistic, but you should try to add the sound of a crackling fire i own 2 units one in my family room & one in my living room love the realism without the trouble of a real fireplace.

We love the option of just flame or heat. It has added finishing touches to our home, without any hassle. It's the best purchase we have made in a long time.

I was happy that the product came so quickly and the price was right., D

Use to supplement heat in our livingroom and enjoy the amazingly realistic flames and embers. I would like to thank the person who figured how to do this.

A very easy way to add a fireplace without all the hassles of a real one. Simple to operate and looks so real you cannot believe it is a 3-D illusion. I can't wait to get home at night to enjoy this fireplace. No wood to fuss with, just hit a button and it's on!

This media console fireplace looks fantastic! It looks very substantial and the quality is excellent. It was assembled in under 3 hours by one person and the assembly steps were very easy to follow as everything was conveniently numbered. The features of the fireplace were a pleasant surprise...it looks lovely!

Love the product. Beautiful wood grain and detail. Dimplex sets the bar high for electric fireplaces. Very realistic. The media center is assembled mostly. All that is needed is to attach the legs and then insert the fireplace. Plug into your wall outlet and enjoy.

I am heating my little 750 sq. ft. row home with this heater. The temp. went down to 43 outside. I couldn't tell the difference from my regular gas heater.
