SohoMod Customer Reviews & Testimonials

This item was perfect for the seating area in our master bedroom. It provides adequate height for our television, and the appropriate ambiance when the fireplace is on. The faux stacked stone is a little darker than expected, but does not detract from overall satisfaction.

It couldn't be more perfect. Looks like it was meant to be there. Ties open room concept together. Got the acrylic ice. Very modern look. Love that there are different color options in the fire Makes our wall mounted TV look even better. Perfect size. Way better than wall mount fireplaces since you dont have to cut into the wall or have it sticking out 5 inches of you don't. Only wish delivery came in house and up stairs What we saved in local deliver costs had to pay for movers to bring out of garage and upstairs and set up. Took them only minutes but we couldn't do it.

Easy to set up. Comes with remote, but you can wave your hand in front of sensors on front to turn on or off. You can change the light colors that glow on sides and near flame, and adjust the brightness also.

This fireplace is advertised to heat 1000 square feet, but the fan isn't powerful enough to disperse the heat into the room at all. This was disappointing because we are trying to use it as a small space heater. Although this fireplace is very attractive and fits perfectly into the mantel that we already had, it is advertised to change colors (the flames?) but it is so subtle it is hardly noticeable.

We are very happy with the unit. Our only complaint concerns the remote control. It works fine, but heaven help the person with arthritic hands who has to change the batteries in it! I am quite strong, but the cover was a bear to remove.

The pictures do not look like this product. The back "brick" part is aluminum in color and behind the logs is a Mirror.....the logs themselves are very real looking.... the heater seems to work ok. I expected a 13 inch deep fireplace area but it's about 6 inches. The dimmer on the remote doesnt work.. I'm disappointed for a product that had such good reviews and the amount of time I put Into researching this product.

Excellent service when I called and discussed options, pricing, shipping Reviews of product were helpful and accurate We are pleased with the purchase but would have appreciated the option of a trim package since our fireplace opening is a couple inches higher and wider than the unit. Heat output is a marginally less than expected. No complaints.

I had been looking for the perfect media stand in my living room. Dimplex makes quality products & I would certainly stand behind the name. It's great for those quiet nights relaxing with good conversation and keeps the living room cozy during the winter where I have yet to use my heat.

This is a wonderful addition to any home! The flame effect is very realistic looking!

Very nice. I bought for my parents to use as supplemental heat. They also enjoy the real fireplace in another part of the house. Heat is quiet good and the ambiance is very pleasant.

If you love a mix of traditional and modern style furniture, the Christian is perfect for you!
