Meridian Furniture Shaw Chenille Counter Stool with Natural Oak Base in Black

The Shaw Chenille Counter Stool with Natural Oak Base brings art deco glamour to the kitchen island, breakfast bar, or counter-height dining table. Upholstered in soft black chenille, it pairs a plush seat with a natural oak base for seating that looks dressed up without feeling fussy — equally at home beside a marble countertop or a warm wood table.

Comfort comes from the inside out. The seat is cushioned with foam and wrapped in soft black chenille fabric that invites you to linger over coffee or a long dinner. Beneath it, a rubberwood frame and solid legs give the stool its steady stance, while an oak veneer base in a natural finish adds a light, organic contrast to the deep black upholstery. The rectangular silhouette and clean art deco lines — grounded by plywood construction — keep the profile tailored rather than bulky.

Part of the Shaw collection, this counter and bar chair is an easy way to introduce a little drama to a neutral kitchen or dining space. If you want seating that feels considered — sculptural from across the room, comfortable up close — the Shaw Chenille Counter Stool is the piece to bring home.
