Meridian Furniture Sacha Velvet Counter Stool with Natural Wood Base in Black

The Sacha Velvet Counter Stool brings a little Art Deco glamour to the busiest seat in the house — the one where guests perch with a drink while dinner comes together, or where you land for a quick breakfast. Upholstered in black velvet, it pairs a deep, dramatic tone with a warm natural wood base, so it reads as elegant without feeling fussy. As part of the Sacha collection and our counter and bar chairs category, it is built for everyday counter-height seating that still looks dressed up.

The upholstery is a plush 460 GSM velvet, chosen for the density and softness that give the black color its rich, light-catching depth. Underneath, a foam cushion keeps things comfortable through long conversations, while the solid rubberwood frame and three-leg base — finished in a natural tone — ground the piece with visible craftsmanship. Fluted detailing along the wood adds texture and a subtle nod to classic Deco lines, and the U-shaped silhouette keeps the profile clean and open.

With its black velvet and natural fluted wood working together, the Sacha Velvet Counter Stool from Meridian Furniture slips easily into modern, transitional, or boldly glamorous kitchens and bar areas. If you want counter seating that feels considered rather than ordinary, this is the one to bring home.
