Description
The Marlowe chair earns its place as the seat everyone gravitates toward — the one by the window, angled toward the conversation, or pulled up beside a sofa that needs a little company. Its softly curved silhouette gives it a sculptural presence, so it reads as a design piece even before anyone sits down.
Upholstery is a rich brown polyester linen textured fabric, woven in two tones so the surface shifts subtly with the light instead of sitting flat. A solid rubberwood base in a natural finish grounds all that softness, and the pedestal shape keeps the profile clean and rectangular rather than fussy.
Then there's the swivel. A full turn means you can follow the room without dragging the chair — face the fireplace, swing toward a guest, pivot back to your book. It's an Art Deco nod that happens to be genuinely useful, and the foam cushioning is built for long, unhurried sitting.
Assembly is required, but the payoff is a chair that moves between modern and contemporary rooms as easily as it turns. If you want seating with real presence and a bit of motion, the Marlowe is an easy yes.
