Description
Pull a seat up to the kitchen island and the Malin counter stool does the quiet work of making the whole room feel considered. The U-shaped silhouette wraps you in, so it's as comfortable for a long breakfast as it is for paying bills at the counter. It's a contemporary piece that reads clean and uncluttered, and the round four-leg base keeps the footprint tidy in tighter spaces.
Upholstered in boucle fabric, the seat has that soft, nubby texture that catches the light and makes a stool feel like a real chair rather than an afterthought. Foam and sponge cushioning sit underneath, and the iron metal frame gives the whole thing a solid, grounded feel. It's available in a handful of colors, so you can go dark and moody or keep it light and neutral depending on your kitchen.
Assembly is required, and it's a straightforward job once the box arrives. Pair it with a counter-height table, tuck it under a breakfast bar, or line up a few along the island for a pulled-together look. If you want a stool that balances an easy, contemporary shape with the kind of comfort you'll actually notice, the Malin is worth the spot.
