NPD (New Pacific Direct) Kara Rattan Accent Arm Chair

The Kara Rattan Accent Arm Chair brings a relaxed, collected feel to living room seating, pairing a classic Chinese Chippendale silhouette with the airy texture of natural rattan. As an arm chair in the Kara collection, it works as a reading seat beside a window, a pair framing a console, or a single statement piece that softens a room without crowding it.

The frame is built from sturdy rattan poles shaped into a shield back of interlocking geometric lines — the detail that gives this accent chair its classic revival character. Upholstery is 100% cotton, and the brown finish is available in Canary Brown or Paloma Brown, so you can lean warm and golden or deeper and earthy depending on the room. The open, geometric back keeps sightlines clear, which is what makes rattan such an easy fit for coastal, traditional, and layered transitional interiors.

This chair arrives fully assembled and is sold individually, so there is no flat-pack project between delivery and actually sitting down. A rattan accent chair that blends classic lines with a light, breathable presence is a simple way to add texture and a finished look to a living room — one piece at a time or two for a matched pair.
