Description
The Hickory bench brings a little Art Deco polish to the end of a bed or the wall behind a sofa. Its rectangular silhouette is clean and low-key enough to work anywhere, while the two-tone weave gives the upholstery a quiet depth that plain fabric can't match. Pull it up to a window with a stack of books, or let it anchor a hallway that needs a spot to sit.
The seat is wrapped in polyester linen textured fabric, woven in two tones so the surface shifts with the light. Beneath it, a solid rubberwood frame and legs carry a natural oak finish with white cerusing — the kind of pale, brushed detail that reads softer than a flat finish. Squared legs echo the rectangular shape, keeping the whole piece crisp and geometric.
Assembly is required, so plan for a few minutes with a screwdriver before it settles into place. Once it's together, it's the sort of bench that earns its keep: sturdy enough for daily use, refined enough to sit in a bedroom or entry without shouting for attention.
If you're after a bench that looks intentional rather than purely practical, this is the one — Art Deco lines, warm oak, and a fabric that holds up to real life.
