Will Your New Furniture Fit?

Before your delivery, take 10 minutes to measure your home. Compare those numbers to the furniture dimensions — and avoid any surprises on delivery day.

Oversized Items Cannot be Disassembled in Most Cases
If your item is marked as oversized, it is delivered as one complete piece — it cannot be taken apart for delivery. Please make sure it can physically pass through every access point in your home before placing your order. Not sure your sofa will fit? Consider our modular sofa collection — designed to be delivered in separate sections and assembled in the room, making tight spaces no longer a problem.

WIDTH HEIGHT DIAGONAL
Measure Your Doors
Measure every door the furniture must pass through — width, height, and diagonal. Don't forget doors inside your home, not just the entrance.
WIDTH
Check Your Staircase
Measure the staircase width from handrail to wall. Also check the ceiling height at any landing turns — large pieces often need to tilt through.
HEIGHT WIDTH DEPTH
Know Your Furniture Size
Find the width, depth, and height of your item on the product page. These are the numbers to compare against every access point in your home.

Doors & Hallways

Width Height
Measure Every Door on the Route
Measure the width and height of every door the furniture must pass through — front door, hallway doors, and the room it's going into.
Width × Height of each door
Width Length
Measure Hallway Width & Length
Measure the width of the hallway at its narrowest point. Also measure the length — long items like sofas may need to be tilted through.
Width + Length of hallway

Measure Landing Turn Height
At the turning point, measure the ceiling height. Tall furniture has to tilt through — it needs clearance above.
Ceiling height at the turn
Note: Tight Turns
Furniture is often tilted upright to navigate staircase turns. Make sure the ceiling has enough clearance for this.

Elevator

Door Width
Measure Elevator Door
Measure the full opening width and height of the elevator door — not the elevator itself.
Door width × door height
Width Depth
Measure Interior Width & Depth
Measure the inside of the elevator — both width and depth. Long items may need to be stood upright inside.
Interior width × depth
Height
Measure Interior Height
Measure from the elevator floor to the ceiling. Critical if your furniture needs to stand upright during transport.
