I read the reviews before I bought this! I said it wouldn't happen to me Got it in the mail, it was super heavy! Beautiful table, we put it together, I loved it! 2 months later it's scratched up! I have no little kids, all of my kids are grown. We don't do arts and crafts. We barely sit at the table. I feel like they should have put another coat of something on it because it shouldn't scratch the way it does! Just understand this table will scratch with minimum effort! I regret ignoring the reviews that are posted.
It's absolutely beautiful and works well in our living room. An added bonus is our cat loves to sit on the box in the center of the table, as well as crawl underneath and hide inside. I was looking for a table, and got a bonus cat crawl space included!
This is an incredibly quality piece of furniture. It came very carefully packaged, was very easy to put together and looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend this product.
This table is perfect for our smaller space. The icing on the cake would be if the chairs that go with it would be delivered sometime this year. Ordered the set in January and still waiting for the matching chairs part of the order.
I would like it alot more if I had the stools I ordered with it. I had to buy stools from Wal-Mart that do not match my table at all because the stools I ordered from you in December 2021 are still not here! Don't even try and blame it in covid either! I am tired of hearing that lame excuse.
Love the table. It fits our space really well. I wish the chairs had shipped at the same time. Looks like it may be the middle of April before we get them.
Wish I could add 5+ stars for this table. Upon waiting over a month for the table, it was delivered with damage to 4 areas of the table top itself. The shelf at the base looks like the wood is warped and has pucker marks in it and finally the table itself does not sit level. It rocks back and forth, I will have to come up with some idea to level it out. I am sad about this.
Love the look (although a couple of chairs had uneven legs but can add something to fix). BUT, on the first day we put it in our kitchen, our cat jumped on the table and scratched the top. Very disappointed that the table top is not tougher to withstand a quick cat claw. We had our previous dining table for almost 20 years and never had a cat scratch on the table top despite repeated cats jumping up. I have now purchased a thick plastic clear cover for the table to keep it from being scratched more. Husband hates the look with the plastic on top! Chairs were also being scratched so now each set is covered with a towel.
