Together with our long-time partners, the Italian studio Baldanzi & Novelli designers, we have developed a number of successful furniture collections for modern offices and public spaces. Mutual trust and understanding led to working together on another ambitious project. We aimed to create an iconic chair that would be in keeping with NARBUTAS’ design motto of ‘Nothing unnecessary’, from the headrest to the castors.

D-CHAIR is a collection of chairs that harmoniously combines minimalist design with innovative engineering solutions. All the details not only create a modern aesthetic and a sensation of lightness but also ensure the ultimate sitting comfort.

D-CHAIR is simply an eye-catcher with its minimalist aesthetics and ergonomic forms. The seat merges gracefully with the backrest and is shaped to follow the curves of a sitting body. The backrest and seat of the chair are made of a continuous mesh that is transparent. This gives the chair a sense of lightness and emphasises the beauty of its structure. The mechanism of this modern chair is integrated into the overall structure of the chair so that it does not seem to exist. You will also not notice any protruding levers for height adjustment or other functions.

The professional product development team has meticulously designed every curve, rounded shapes, joints of the chair and thickness of its components. The seamless seat monoblock is made up of many different yet interacting parts that come together to form an indivisible unity, creating an innovative design. This is the main feature of D-CHAIR that makes it so unique and guarantees maximum sitting comfort.
