Meridian Furniture Conrad Velvet Counter Stool with Natural Wood Base in Saddle

The Conrad Velvet Counter Stool with Natural Wood Base brings plush, artful seating to kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and casual dining spots — the kind of chair that makes a counter feel like a destination. As part of the Conrad collection in our Counter & Bar Chairs category, it pairs the softness of velvet with the warmth of wood, a combination that suits modern and contemporary rooms without feeling cold or clinical.

The seat is wrapped in 460 GSM velvet in a rich Saddle hue — a weighty fabric that feels substantial and looks deeply saturated. Foam cushioning sits beneath the velvet for supportive everyday comfort, while the frame is built from ash wood and plywood for a stable, grounded foundation. Four round legs in a natural finish complete the rectangular silhouette, echoing the stool's Art Deco design with clean, considered lines.

Because the natural wood base and Saddle velvet are both warm, earthy tones, this counter stool layers easily into kitchens with wood cabinetry, stone counters, or mixed-metal fixtures. Pull it up for morning coffee, tuck it under an island for extra dinner seating, or use a pair to define a casual dining nook. From Meridian Furniture, the Conrad Velvet Counter Stool with Natural Wood Base is comfortable enough to linger in and considered enough to anchor the room — a daily-use piece that earns its place.
