This electric firebox has completely transformed my living room. The flame effect is incredibly realistic, and the handcrafted logs add a touch of authenticity. I appreciate the option to enjoy the ambiance without the heat during warmer months. Installation was straightforward, and the unit fits seamlessly into my existing space.
I love how realistic and vibrant the Multi-Fire XHD flames are. The 28-inch size fits perfectly in my space, and the acrylic ice adds a unique sparkle that sets it apart from other electric fireplaces. Ordering from Sohomod was seamless, and the product arrived on time and in perfect condition.
I’m so impressed with the quality and ambiance this fireplace creates. The 74-inch size is perfect for my large room, and the LED flames look very realistic. It’s easy to operate with a remote and adds a cozy vibe without the hassle of a traditional fireplace. Sohomod provided excellent service from order to delivery.
This electric firebox is a perfect fit for my modern farmhouse decor. The 26” size is ideal for my space, and the realistic flame effect adds a touch of elegance. The heater efficiently warms the room, and I appreciate the adjustable settings. The unit was easy to install, and the quality is top-notch. It’s a stylish and functional addition to my home.

The fireplace is beautiful. I have had it installed for a little over two weeks and everyone who sees it thinks it is a real flame and wonder how I am venting the smoke. Even my builder was impressed. I looked at all types of fireplaces for our new addition for over a year and settled on this model of electric fireplace. The price is unbeatable, installation was super easy. The flame looks real. Beyond happy with the purchase.
I bought this unit to replace a 25 year old model that finally quit running. This new design, along with the remote control and flame options, was more than a match for the older unit. With a few minor modifications to the fireplace surround, it fit perfectly. This is a great unit at a very competitive price and I'm sure it will provide years of satisfaction. Great fireplace!
This was easy to install and looks amazing in our Extra large family room. Focal point of the room with an 86" TV above it. Mounted on a tiled stone wall. Very beautiful. However, it is annoyingly noisy. Not the heating element. It makes a continuous very low chime/pop noise about every 30 seconds. I can hear it from the next room with the TV on. This is the only thing we don't like about it. Maybe defective? I don't know......It looks great though.
Our family purchased these fireboxes with the intent of placing them inside our non-functioning fireplaces to a) provide supplemental heat, b) create an ambiance that was desperately lacking in our family space, and c) to a certain extent 'childproof' our fireplaces by filling them up. It has succeeded in all of those! Plus, easy to setup, relatively quiet (can have a soft conversation with it on), great lighting with the flames and logs, and easy to use remote. Would recommend.
Installed the unit in an existing mantle. Looks great. Very realistic flame. Heats up the room nicely. Only drawback would be the faint 'knocking' sound that doesn't seem to stop.
It is used in an existing fireplace and works fantastic to provide both heat and a serene asthetic beautiful looking fire. Would not change it unless it offered real fire sounds like popping etc.
This small stove is attractive and fits nicely in my small home. I have received numerous compliments and requests for information regarding place of purchase. I suspect my friends have also ordered one. My only negative comment is that it's in my living room which I believe is a little to large for the stove to work effectively. Next year I'll purchase something larger for the living room and put this one in my bedroom. Overall it's a great stove and it helps with heating costs while being "simply attractive".
The fireplace was purchased as a replacement for a much older Dimplex model and comparatively it's a big improvement. Smaller footprint, better heating, more realistic flame, etc. Manufaxturier claims it will heat 1,000 square feet. I'm not sure how that claim is validated, but in our experience it's not accurate. Ours is in a 400ish square foot room (admitededly in a 75 year old house and with three exterior walls) and it does a passable job) Others have mention the Fahrenheit / Celsius issue on the display - we never did get it to convert, so we're living with it which is not a huge issue. Also, the remote and sensor are somewhat particular about their arrangemt to one another. Again. Not a huge deal but a small noticeable one. Overall it's probably all one can expect.
We received our Dimplex Fireplace insert and are very happy with it-We were tired our all the mess of a fire in a fireplace and I am allergic to smoke so this is perfect. In our opinion it couldn't be used for heat only-It only heats a very small area but we are thoroughly satisfied with it.
This is our first Dimplex and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Delivery and installation were easy and it looks beautiful! Highly recommend. We built a wall to recess it into and it fits perfectly in our space.
We are very happy with the unit. Our only complaint concerns the remote control. It works fine, but heaven help the person with arthritic hands who has to change the batteries in it! I am quite strong, but the cover was a bear to remove.
This fireplace is advertised to heat 1000 square feet, but the fan isn't powerful enough to disperse the heat into the room at all. This was disappointing because we are trying to use it as a small space heater. Although this fireplace is very attractive and fits perfectly into the mantel that we already had, it is advertised to change colors (the flames?) but it is so subtle it is hardly noticeable.
We love this fireplace. Beautiful art in our living room. The heat is quite low, don't expect it to heat your room up, but it does produce some heat if you set in front of it. But it's a really nice looking addition to our room and people are blown away when they see it.
