Description
The Arlington bench earns its keep at the foot of a bed, in an entryway, or pulled up to a window with a book. The chenille upholstery has a soft, lived-in hand, and the mid-century modern lines keep it easy to work into a room that's already got some personality.
Underneath the cushioning, a rubberwood and plywood frame gives it real substance, while the sled base in a rich natural finish grounds the whole piece. There's a sliding wooden tray built in, too — handy for setting down a cup or corralling keys and mail.
It comes in your choice of upholstery color, so you can steer the look toward a moody contrast or something lighter and airier. Assembly is required, but the payoff is a bench that reads as considered rather than filler.
If you want seating that doubles as a design moment without shouting for attention, this is the one.
