In 2013, Tokujin Yoshioka debuted the PRISM collection for Glasitalia, a series of furniture and mirrors. On the occasion of the 2014 Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the japanese designer presents an expansion of PRISM with the ‘mirror table’. The furniture piece is produced from a thick high-transparency mirrored glass, cut using a special technique in which the surfaces give off a clear sparkling expression through the refraction of light, much like that of a prism.
