The upcoming edition of Maison&Objet Paris marks the first-ever unveiling of Fliegenbein SL Standing Lamp from Kalmar. The floor lamp is designed by Garth Roberts, creative director of Kalmar Werkstätten.
Truncated height combines with warm, lantern-like illumination to make this new lamp an inviting companion to an armchair or lounge. Thanks to its confident display of volume, the small fixture may also anchor an open corner—or it may be placed atop furniture for a monumental statement. Indeed, the youngest member of the Fliegenbein family greatly increases the applications of this already-versatile series. Like every Fliegenbein, Kalmar’s craftsmen meticulously cast and polish the tubular steel frame and finish it in light and dark gray or brown matte lacquers.
