The Raglan collection’s limitless fabric, color and finish combinations give the collection great flexibility, just like its namesake sleeve design.
Andreu World‘s Raglan collection of modular lounge chairs and sofas, designed for use in collaboration spaces in corporate, public and private spaces, has an interesting story behind its name.
This collection by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, whose distinguishing characteristic is its signature edge seaming, takes its name from the Raglan sleeve that has a long diagonal seam line from the neck to the armhole. This style was created for Lord Raglan, who lost him arm in the Battle of Waterloo, to allow him greater movement to use his sword in battle.
This meticulous upholstery work and elaborated stitching detail allow for seemingly limitless fabric, color and finish combinations for the Raglan collection.
