The Polyp Lamps from Justin Bailey are a sustainable light source made from post consumer paper bonded with PVA adhesive with an LED Light.
The lamp is made up of two parts, a paper shell supported by a 3D Printed Base which also holds the light fixture. The paper is die cut and then hand scored, folded and adhered using an archival PVA adhesive. The paper is also post-consumer material, with all of the waste recycled. The base holds an LED bulb and fixture so that low heat is emitted in addition to being low energy consumption.
