Flow is a concept by Davide Anzalone which consists in a base made of Cristalplant® and a top in extraclear glass.
Cristalplant® is a solid surface material that can be moulded like plastics in complex 3d shapes and has a velvety and natural stone-like finish.
The idea behind the project is to take advantage of the intrinsic characteristics of the material thus creating a one-piece structure that visually flows from a table feet to the opposite one. The smooth shape of the base enhances a soft ergonomic feeling to the seated user. Four organic knobs, refined with rubber bearings, emerge from the base structure and create the support for the top glass.
