From the architects: This beautiful apartment was a commission from a developer in the lovely area of West London.
As it initially had a really small amount of natural light, we focused on trying to enhance its luminosity as much as possible by enlarging the small windows and adding a hidden ceiling light that provides great support to the natural one.
We decided to open up the space by increasing the ceiling height, adding volume and thickness to the space, creating a loft and contemporary feeling throughout the whole property.
We used Antico for the floor, which proved a clever solution as we had restriction on how much we could play with it and with soft and bright colors and finishes we added some character to it.
The two bedrooms, with an en suite for the master one, with built in wardrobes, then complements with enough comfort and storage to host guests, still leaving enough space of your own.
The kitchen, purposely kept as clean as possible with a Bora basic hob, avoided the necessity of an extractor and adds up to the simplicity of the property.
