Spade Chair is an ode to the rural life in the English countryside in which designer Faye Toogood grew up and had her first encounters with shapes and colours of the natural world.
The inspiration of the chair comes from a cross over between the traditional milking stool and the handle of a spade. A strong icon with references to both the past, present and future.
As a result of years close collaboration between Please Wait to be Seated founder Thomas Ibsen and Faye Toogood.
