Launching for Milan Design Week, the N01 chair will be the first since Arne Jacobsen’s Grand Prix model to be constructed entirely of wood for Danish brand Fritz Hansen. The structure of the chair will be constructed entirely of wood while the seat and seat back produced in a layered veneer, utilizing Fritz Hansen’s plywood forming technique. The joints are combined in a way to appear as though they are not touching, producing a refreshing contemporary aesthetic while maintaining the traditions of the brand.
