Linito, designed by Yu Ito for Formabilio, makes you think of a modern royal throne entirely made of metal.
The choice of the graphic lines highlights the strength of the material, a laser-cut steel sheet, folded to give shape to the back, to the generous seat and the solid base. The rigor of the metal is lightened by the colorful finishes. The matched cushions are upholstered with eco-friendly fabric.
Perfect in living room next to a sofa or as head of the table seat, to add solemnity, Linito is a chair with a dramatic presence where is easy to give yourself airs and graces.
For Linito, a sheet metal was the choice of material from the beginning. Sheet metals can be simply rolled or folded to make rigid structures – I wanted to use both of the methods.
