French designer Nicolas Abdelkader has sent us photos of his beautiful LÉA Coffee Table.
LÉA is a coffee table of his generation, created in 2014, it no longer reflects the time where the coffee table was a sign of distinction for the social upper class.
During the creative process, the mood was to bring a more than a common object certain singularity and even a little of smoothly. To enter inside people table finesse and quality of execution of fundamental criterion.
Materials side, LÉA enjoys legs solid oak from receiving tray white melamine, MDF veneer on face upper and lower face on oak. Its base is removable and repositionable with the aid of a screw aliowing ease for transportation and packaging.
On the plate, it is for plywood saves weight compared to materials such as chipboard or MDF are very dense and heavy. Finally, the edges of the tray about them been beveled to provide a little effect “hovering” and softness to the touch.
From its 45cm and a tray 70cm sides LÉA plays cards on the table in showing his relaxation and harmony its simple modern lines.
