Johani Horell has designed the Kaari table. It’s a wonderful and creative furniture piece, inspired by the urban landscape.
The world that surrounds us is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. “Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working”, said Picasso, one of the greatest artists that created some of the most abstract (and intriguing) masterpieces. The arc-like shape of bridges fascinated Johani Horelli and made him transform a simple idea into an exquisite contemporary piece of décor. “Kaari” means “arc” in Finnish, so the name reflects perfectly the concept behind it.
Kaari adds a touch of sophistication (that particular simple sophistication we all fancy) and changes the décor of any contemporary living space. The gorgeous item was crafted using a traditional Scandinavian technique of mold pressing of veneer. The outcome: a minimalist polished coffee table… with a twist! The Kaari table comes in three different colours, depending on the material used in defining it: walnut, wenge or stripy birch plywood.
