Jeté is a suspension lamp of large dimensions, designed by Tommaso Caldera for the Italian brand Waypoint.
The combination of counterweight and cables allow you to bring the light source closer or farther away depending on necessity and environment. The lamp is composed by three main elements: a spinned steel diffuser, the bent steam and the steel counterweight.
Jeté recovers an ancient typology, the weighted table lamp, rereading it with a contemporary tone. The aim was to combine a large object with gentle gesture and delicate shapes.
The project is part of a new collection for the Italian brand Waypoint curated by Chiara Moreschi that involves young Italian and international designer. The collection will be launched during coming Salone del Mobile at Ventura XV.
