The Jakob dining room chair Jakob from Findahls Møbelfabrik is a fine example of modern Danish furniture design that combines elegant and simple lines with fine joinery craftsmanship.
The chair is named after its creator, designer Jakob Berg, who died at age 50 in 2008. It was the last chair he managed to finish, and it is with the permission of his family that Findahls Møbelfabrik has been allowed to name the chair after him and takes pride in producing it.
Jakob is made of oak or beech and is available with several surface finishes: lacquered, soap-treated, oiled, white oiled, and stained in several different wood colors. New features now offered are smoke oil and grey oil treatments. The seat can be upholstered with different fabrics and leathers.
