The collection by David Adjaye for Moroso, called Double Zero, emphasizes an isolated geometry that feels almost Deco in spirit.
Comprising a dining chair, armchair, barstool, and sofa, the series showcases floating upholstered circles held in place by looping metal tubes. Available in a selection of fabrics and finishes, each piece is truly chameleon—in leather and gold it goes ‘70s glam, while in chrome and tie-die it takes on a casual cool.
“Historically, the motif of the circle appears again and again in seating,” Adjaye explains. “I wanted to experiment with the idea of this form that could be expressed in many different ways and in a number of different materials. I wanted this range to encompass every condition. From casual through high luxury.”
