Abrazo (Hug) is a chair and an ottoman or footrest from Andrés Lhima, a functional set and designed for small indoor spaces.

The name of Abrazo is given for how to are conjoined the chair and ottoman one above the other and are supported to fixing by a neodymium magnet that are located at the bottom of each of the eight legs.

The seat and backrest are made in one piece; just like the footrest is produced by means mold in which it is plywood and bent the wood.

The materials used for manufacturing are wood and encino veneer finished open-pore matte black.

Abrazo was selected as part of the exhibition “Sillas MX” (Chairs MX) which was organized by the Mexican Museum of Design (MUMEDI) in Mexico City.
