Flexform is proud to announce that ADI, the permanent Observatory of Design, has selected the A.B.C.D. by architect Antonio Citterio for the 2015 ADI Design Index.
The A.B.C.D. armchair represents a restyling of the iconic A.B.C. armchair, designed by Antonio Citterio in 1996. The brand new version looks more modern thanks to some important technical changes. The metal armrest has been removed, and the armchair is now based on a patented extendible mechanism which makes the movement of the seat cushion possible and the sitting more comfortable. The idea of a low seat height is very contemporary and the same is for the square cushions together with the new metal structure.
