Curv Chair is a minimalist chair created by Zurich-based designer Jörg Boner for Stattmann Neue Moebel. The project is a lightweight solid wooden chair with a distinct design language. The chair family by Swiss designer Jörg Boner is available with and without armrests. Curv convinces with its striking silhouette, clever construction and refined craftsmanship. The exciting interplay of deliberate simplicity and surprising design details gives the chair its special character. The simple, straight lines of Curv Chair contrast with the soft curves of its solid wood elements. The construction is based on a simple U-shaped frame, with a thin, seemingly floating seat. The back view impresses with its elegant appearance and lightness. The versions with and without armrests only differ in the height of the backrest. Like all furniture of the collection, the chair is made of ash and is available in all 11 shades of the Stattmann Neue Moebel color range. For the chairs’stoppers made of natural rubber, a special relief of waved lines was designed, interpreting the U- shaped frame.
