The Hedwig chair, designed by David Ericsson for Gärsnäs, is characterized by a curved seatback that extends into the legs. The leather or upholstery is attached directly to the seat frame with slightly exposed openings to reveal the wood underneath. The armrests extend outward to form a circular surface that is unobtrusive when not in use, but can easily hold drinks when needed.
