Brussels-based design studio NAB presents the ODO side table constructed from powder-coated steel and solid ash.
Named for the “Odonata” (otherwise known as a dragonfly), the curvilinear structure imitates nature’s design through its elegant form; a beautifully bent steel table top alludes to the insect’s sweeping wing, while angled wooden legs give the seemingly weightless upper a sense of gravity. Just like the migratory dragonfly, ODO weaves seamlessly between interior and exterior, from space to space. Bright red provides a stunning contrast to the pale wood, an accurate reflection of the dragonfly’s brilliant presence in its natural setting. Look here to see more of NAB’s creative functional work.
