Spanish industrial designers Irene Chércoles Mercader and Andrea Mauri Carbonell designed Nap to give urban furniture a needed enlivening. The rocking chair, which is made of anodized aluminum, woven nylon tape, and rubber protectors is meant to be placed temporarily in various controlled spaces around the city of barcelona. Nap gives people a place to pause, meet, and relax amongst the bustling heart of the metropolitan area.
