Cult object of design, the Pipistrello lamp was created by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce in 1965.
This lamp with his lampshade to the shape forms looks like a bat, that means pipistrello in Italian. This is a table lamp or a ground lamp with a light broadcasts. A telescopic system in stainless steel allows to adjust his height (66-86 cm). The broadcaster is in white methacrylate opal and the basis in white varnished metal or dark chestnut.
Mythical and exposed in the biggest museums of the entire world, Pipistrello is part of these objects that constitute our universal heritage.
