In 1955, furniture designer Hans J. Wegner created the elegant 3-seat sofa GE 236, manufactured by Danish furniture company Getama. Over the years, the sofa has become one of the factory’s best-selling furniture items.
The sofa is characterized by its sculptural corpus in oak, where the back is made up of visible transverse rods. Thus, the sofa is suited to stand freely in the room and works, for instance, really well as a room divider.
