Loie Fullers “Serpentine Dance” from 1892 and a ruff from Budapest were the inspiration for designer Oscar Lind Modin on the Serpentine and Vivid lampshades.
The shades are made of 300 metres of cotton ribbon on a handmade metal stand. His intention was to capture the movements of both the body and clothing in something pared down and beautiful. The result is two sublime and artisan crafted lampshades.
