Chained Up Dining Table by Barberini & Gunnell

The inspiration for this Chained Up table by Barberini & Gunnell came from observing the gigantic iron chains which are used for tying up the enormous Container ships or Transatlantic Cruisers.

Spending hours at the port we were intrigued by finding a way to build a table structure in the shape of a chain, every bangle connected to the other. Closing the chain, yet achieving a stable table structure while at the same time not losing the esthetic beauty of the finished work was the challenge of this table Barberini & Gunnell
