Designed in 1981 by Guillermo Capdevila, this collection of lamps enjoyed great success on the international market, especially in the US, in the early 80s, when the designs of Arne Jacobsen and Richard Sapper turned the flexo into a hallmark of the most important manufacturers. In the case of B.lux, the Blux System marked a turning point in its product strategy, as it took firm strides towards the manufacturing of contemporary designer lamps. Today nostalgia and market trends have spurred B.lux to once again produce the Blux System, using the same artisanal processes.
