Acqua is the new design for interiors by Luta Bettonica for Cini&Nils: a suspended lamp whose elegantly sinuous shape models the light in the room, setting the scene for its everyday inhabitant’s creativity to blossom.
Acqua conjures up the image of a drop of water whose concave section houses the lighting point. A fast, handy snap-in system enables individual elements not only to be linked together, but to add to or move the drops, giving rise to an endless array of structural and lighting layouts. The luminous effect generated when these individual luminaires are assembled together is quite fascinating. The ceiling rose from which the drop elements are suspended is designed to be used singly or in series.
Luta Bettonica took greater versatility of installation into consideration when designing these lamps: a second remote rose enables the fitting to be installed on the wall, too, so that patterns of soft, refined light can be created inside the living area. The Acqua lamp is fitted with a chip-on-board LED and the light intensity can be adjusted using a dimmer.
