Indoor and Outdoor Lamps by Johan Kauppi and Nina Kauppi in Stockholm, Sweden

Spotted at Stockholm Furniture Fair, these five lights offer varied solutions for both in and out of doors. The selection takes into account versatility, colour range and playfulness, with some new releases and extensions to design classics. Starting with the new, the historic Swedish porcelain manufacturing company Ifö Electric commissioned Swedish duo Johan Kauppi and Nina Kauppi to design a full collection of indoor and outdoor lights, consisting of a wide range of ceiling, wall, facade light fixtures and table lamps. Inspired by old porcelain insulators the Ohm collection comes in two sizes of porcelain bases, in gloss white or black glaze.

Seletti brought its humor to the Nordic fair with a new table lamp by Marcantonio called Candle Twins, while Swedish duo Front released a collection extension of the Curve lamp – a remake of the classic green clerk’s lamp, originally designed for the library of the newly reopened National Museum in Stockholm. Swedish lighting brand Wästberg and architect David Chipperfield unveiled black steel extensions to the w102 chipperfield archetypal lamp with a new family of wall and floor versions. Another colour add-on is the Forest Green winter shade that founders Dan and Kateryna Vakhrameyevs selected for lighting products of Kiev-based company FILD.
