Confluence Table by Xavier Lust for PIANCA

The collaboration between PIANCA and the designer Xavier Lust gave birth to Confluence, the brand new table with a wooden surface on a fluent steel structure.

This original furniture element is characterized by the strong imprint of the designer (that received several awards, including “Compasso d’Oro”), that is immediately recognizable. The attraction for metal elements that has always affected Lust is combined here with Pianca’s experience with wooden materials, emerging into an organic and dynamic composition. The steel is winding and curvy, as if kept the fluid consistence of its (de)formation process, but it transmits nonetheless a perceivable tension that gives strength to the structure.
