Bellaforza!<\/strong> by Denis Santachiara<\/strong> is an atypical table, deliberately figurative, inspired by the artworks and masterpieces of Italian \u201cfuturisti\u201d (like Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carr\u00e0 and Fortunato Depero among the others), thought in continuity and consistency with Gufram<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s nonconformist approach. <\/p>\n

The opposite legs that support the table face opposite horizons, but are part of the same system \u2014 of the same cultural matrix; one could not exist without the other \u2013 and the impalpable tension between them marks an immovable standstill, and yet a dialogue between the parts. The directions between opposite poles remain bound together \u2014 virtually frozen in a growing and revolutionary resistance.<\/p>\n

In this way the legs grow out of the functional limit of the horizon \u2014 represented by the glass \u2014 and are transformed into deconstructed vases: anthropomorphic industrial trunks \u2014 children of the machine. Two complements which are an integral part of the project, but that can live their own life in the dining-room, serving the function of \u2014 as applicable \u2014 a centrepiece, a fruit bowl, or a vase that can be placed somewhere else to hold wonderful flowers of hope or precious mementos from the past.<\/p>\n
