The old articulated joints have been replicated in great detail, and are what make Switch On such a flexible lamp.<\/p>\n<p>Purism is also reflected in the materials: the steel of the rods, pressed metal foot and nickel-plated aluminium reflector are reminiscent of a time when electricity was not yet available to everyone through power sockets.
