It is held in balance by its own weight and slender stem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motus<\/strong> consists of a selection of traditionally used materials such as walnut wood for the base and the head of the lamp, and brass for the stem. Light is produced by an integrated, high power LED strip. A touch sensor functions as both the dimmer and power switch. The head is completely rotatable and can be adjusted to cast light in any desired direction.<\/p>\n<p>The name \u201cMotus\u201d is derived from Latin and, translated to English, means movement.
