It\u2019s all about setting up separate \u201cstages\u201d for one final action, which is inflating the glass to its final shape. This process has to be exact from beginning to end, and timing has to be perfect.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We\u2019re bringing back the use of glass cane to create striped patterning, a technique developed in 16th century Italy and used by mid-century designers. Using these traditional techniques passed down for centuries, we\u2019ve created objects that don\u2019t look like grandma\u2019s lamps.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery
