In keeping with the Oriental tradition, they are stuffed with hand-spun raw cotton, providing a unique feeling when laid on.<\/p>\n<p>The designer created the base frame \u2013 made of powdercoated steel and covered in cowhide \u2013 in conjunction with the Dutch furniture specialist Founded. The aim was to devise a structure that can support the massive mattress while appearing lightweight and graceful, giving the impression that the carpet bed is floating.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2'
