It is precisely this juxtaposition of opposites that lends this fully upholstered chair its intriguing sophistication. The effect can be enhanced by choosing various combinations of leathers or fabrics for the inner and outer shells.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the possibilities for individualising the design, the S 81 can harmonise with multiple interior design styles. Colour and material combinations can be chosen to complement other pieces of furniture: \u201cDepending on the combination, the result can be a new and individual collector\u2019s item which can stand alone as a highlight or work together in a larger grouping. Depending on personal taste and preferences, the variations are countless,\u201d says designer Emilia Becker<\/strong> of the Thonet Design Team. Furthermore, each chair can be differentiated with ornamental seams or piping to emphasise the design\u2019s refined contours.
